Old Clifton Springs Pier

Only the pylons remain of this wooden pier. Located to the east of the Clifton Springs boat launching ramp at the end of Jetty Road. Max depth is 2m at high tide and the bottom is sand and seagrass. Despite the lack of depth this is a nice snorkel/dive with some surprising critters. Have seen seahorses, stingarees, nudbranchs and thousands of pipefish (Jan 2006).
